This project was inspired by the momentum surrounding our women’s team after a strong win streak, including a recent victory over a tough opponent. Going into this game, the team was projected to lose, but I wanted to prepare a hype video that captured the confidence, energy, and excitement surrounding the program if they pulled off another big win.

The creative goal was to immediately communicate that this was a team on fire. I used play call audio and black and white visuals to highlight past wins and build anticipation, then transitioned using a glitch-style effect into the present moment, where our coach emphasizes the focus and intensity required for a game of this scale. I selected a fast-paced, high energy track to match both the emotional tone of the moment and the rhythm of the coach’s press conference audio. The edit pulls together explosive plays from recent games to reinforce the team’s strength and momentum, resulting in a hype video that reflects both the pressure and excitement surrounding this matchup.
